Timber Top™ Range
Floor Care
The Timber Top™Range has been factory finished with 5 coates of UV cured, wear resistant acrylic lacquer, this makes Timber top™ one of the most hardwearing timber floors available. Simple maintenance procedures will ensure your floor stays looking beautiful day in day out.
  • Use walk off matts at all entries to reduce the amount of dirt and grit that is brought inside on to the floor.
  • Place felt pads on the legs of tables and chairs and on the bases of any movable furniture that is likely to scratch the surface of the floor.
  • Ensure that your floor is kept clean and free of grit by using an electrostatic broom or vacuum cleaner to keep your floor clean.
  • Periodically, you will need to wash your floor. Use hot water and 2 or 3 caps of methylated spirits mixed together. Ensure you use only a clean well wrung mop (It is important that the mop has not been used with any other cleaning products or detergents as this will leave smears on the floor).
  • Place mats in high traffic areas to reduce wear.
  • Use of a suitable polish is recommended to protect the factory coatings. The polish should be applied every 4-6months depending on traffic.
    • Warranty
    The Timber Top™ Range is covered by a 10year structural warranty.
    This warranty covers all types of structural defects such as delamination, splitting, checking and twisting.
    The following condition apply:
  • Not recommended for wet areas such as bathrooms, toilets and laundries.

  • Maintenance program must be followed.

  • Installation must be in accordance with the installation instructions for Timber Top™ flooring products.(Available from any Unique Timber Floors outlet).
    A full version of the warranty is availble upon purchase of you new floor.
    • Diamond Tuff™ Range
    Floor Care
    Being a Laminate, Diamond Tuff™ is very resilient when it comes to wear and tear and maitaining a Diamond Tuff™ floor is incredibly simple. The following maintenance checklist will help to ensure that your Diamond Tuff™ floor always looks its' very best.
  • Use walk off matts at all entries to reduce the amount of dirt and grit that is brought inside on to the floor.
  • Place felt pads on the legs of tables and chairs and on the bases of any movable furniture that is likely to scratch the surface of the floor.
  • Ensure that your floor is kept clean and free of grit by using a fringe mop or vacuum cleaner to keep your floor clean.
  • Periodically, you will need to wash your floor. Use hot water and 2 or 3 caps of methylated spirits mixed together. Ensure you use only a clean well wrung mop (It is important that the mop has not been used with any other cleaning products or detergents as this will leave smears on the floor).
